Whats the difference between your script and the other editors?
Many people offer dhtml editing controls, but these are for integration into your own application (which you don't have).
Flyspeck is a set of scripts built ON TOP OF an award winning DHTML editing control, FCKEditor. You can google for it, and download it for free. But, that is not all you need to do what Flyspeck does. If you get just the control, you wont have the ability to DO anything with it without building your own application. Many people sell what Frederico offers for free, and none of them are as good. That is why I distribute the latest greatest version of his editor. I customized the upload facility to make it simple and configurable right in the config. Notoriously, people try to do too much with scripts. Flyspeck is built in the spirit of Apple computer. Simple, clean, and elegant - and it WORKS.
Content management is overkill for most small sites that have unstructured content. Flyspeck literally CHANGES the way you think about a site -- you build the shell, and let them fill it up and maintain it. I use Dreamweaver's synchronize feature to download the changed files that they edited back to my local drive. Then, I can make global template changes, clean any code, etc.
NO other pro editing script has the unique ability that allows people to browse to a page and hit the editing trigger. Every other system uses a file browsing mechanism, which is just way too hard for many people. I have tried to explain "look at the filename and then go to the tool and login and find the file" and I have LOST THEM already. The biggest selling point of flyspeck is its "interfaceless" design, its just browse and click to edit.
