Why should I buy Flyspeck?

There are lots of freebie little editing scripts out there. Why should I buy yours?

To me, many of the freebies out there are woefully underpowered, or a mess of WAY too much power that you don't want to expose or bother your clients. When it comes to DHTML editors, nothing comes close to FCKeditor, which is the number 1 editing control out there, licensed, free or paid. If you love hacking and experimenting with new scripts (hey something I like to do! ) that is great. But if you are a site developer that doesn't have the time or desire to learn all that stuff, Flyspeck is for you.

Also, I have an outstanding relationship with all of my customers. I answer emails RIGHT away , follow up, and generally do ALL I can to make it a success for them. This is something you simply will not get from one of the many php-of-the-hour scripts out there. You are not just buying some zip - you are buying someone who cares for and feels personal passion for the product I have built. You are buying a working solution IN YOUR environment - and a happy client, or you get your money back. I typically ftp in and work through any issues, around the world, to fix or tweak the code.

Flyspeck has a professional polish and is built and tested by many people, whose feedback is rolled right into the product. I love free scripts. But, you get what you pay for, and if you don't like it, I return your money. I have only had a few returns in over three years of selling. I will keep it FOCUSED, SIMPLE, and to me a great feature is, you can always upgrade to a bigger, badder system if the need arises, because Flyspeck does NOT lock you into some proprietary setup. At the end of the day, your site is good old gawds honest HTML files.

Another issue in this market is the type of content you have. Many demos will show you updates of text, that is not very impressive. If they require a database to store that content, they are operating on a level that is way more than the users of Flyspeck want. Flyspeck is a simple way to let people update a REGULAR, GOOD-OLD FASHIONED type of website that mom used to make. Plain jane HTML sites, with no fancy frameworks or content management. It also works on PHP or SHTML or HTM sites too. Some sites do require a CMS, but Flyspeck is a great way to get a site going FAST so that it can grow into a site that requires more infrastructure.
